Kmanek is a Singaporean based company involved in supplying consumer product (food and non-food products) in Timor-Leste. Kmanek provides various local and imported products in their own supermarkets as well as supplying to other wholesalers in the country.

Kmanek is also involved in sourcing locally raised mud crabs, and as support to this activity, produces small amounts of crab feed using local products. It has extensive exposure to the international market, a strong brand, investable capital as well as a long term vision for the growth and development of agricultural products in Timor-Leste.
As part of its long-term vision for the agriculture market in Timor-Leste, Kmanek sees potential for the establishment and development of an animal feed manufacturing facility in country. This vision is strengthened partly by its own experience in providing crab feed to local mud crab and fish farms, as well as through an appreciation of the growing livestock and poultry industry in Timor.

MDF has supported Kmanek undertake a professional feasibility study on the viability of establishing a fish and poultry feed manufacturing facility in Timor-Leste. Discussions are ongoing for the next phase of the partnership looking at the establishment of this facility.
